While we were at PA State Swimming Championships cheering on our eldest daughter, we received the news that we received a new number. We were hoping to break into the 30s, but we are resting on the edge of the 40s. At first, I was very disappointed that we did not move further, then my daughter's swimming performance taught me a lesson. She was hoping to get a time of 27seconds for her split time in backstroke for the Medley Relay. Her split time was a 28.03. At first, she was disappointed over being short of her goal by 3 hundredths of a second. Then she was able to rejoice with her relay team as they celebrated an 11th place victory at States, and watched a teammate take state champion in the 100 Free. Alicia and I rejoice with others on this journey that have received their referrals, and those that have been blessed to be united with their child.
