While we were at PA State Swimming Championships cheering on our eldest daughter, we received the news that we received a new number. We were hoping to break into the 30s, but we are resting on the edge of the 40s. At first, I was very disappointed that we did not move further, then my daughter's swimming performance taught me a lesson. She was hoping to get a time of 27seconds for her split time in backstroke for the Medley Relay. Her split time was a 28.03. At first, she was disappointed over being short of her goal by 3 hundredths of a second. Then she was able to rejoice with her relay team as they celebrated an 11th place victory at States, and watched a teammate take state champion in the 100 Free. Alicia and I rejoice with others on this journey that have received their referrals, and those that have been blessed to be united with their child. Thank you for rejoicing with us for our slow movement toward completing our adoption, and thank your for your continued prayers!
