Well, we found out that the strike is over and things are moving forward. There are 2 families that will be traveling this week to finalize their adoptions in Honduras !!! So happy for them. We also found out that there will not be an assignment meeting during this month. Not really a surprise since we were figuring that they would be on holiday for the entire month. We are praying in earnest that once February comes there will be many children that are ready to be matched with families.
We have been working through the book of Hebrews in church. Chapter 11 is where we were this week. Verse 3 says "By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God,
so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." I have faith that God is at work in the country of Honduras and that he is doing what needs to be done to prepare our daughter to become a part of our family. It may happen this year and yet it may not be for another 2 years. We took the big step of faith back in Feb 2011. Knowing that God would be going before us. No matter how long it takes, we will do what we can humanly do to bring our daughter into our family!
